This Dolcetto shows a beautifully cool red hue with fresh purple highlights. On the nose, vibrant forest fruits lead the way, with cherry taking center stage. The palate opens with classic dark berry notes like cherry and blackberry, then deepens with rich plum tones shaped by the mountain valley terroir, finishing with a distinctive almond note that lingers elegantly.

Dolcetto is a versatile wine that goes well with any meal or antipasto. Happily accompanying all meat dishes, especially roasts, it is also a fantastic accompaniment to cheeseboards, particularly pairing well with soft and semi-hard cheeses

The producer, Bernabeleva, was originally founded in 1923 but revived in 2006 by descendants of the founding family, who focused on restoring old high-altitude vineyards and farming them using organic and biodynamic practices to highlight the granite-driven character of the Sierra de Gredos.
